The set took approximately 120 hours to complete, over a 1000 beads and pearls, and 1500 yards of thread. The base gloves were vintage 1940s wedding gloves in ivory. Each palm is woven with red metallic fingerprints, and fades into the map of my own veins down the forearms. Beaded designs based loosely on Spanish Renaissance high court motifs and palette.
